Find where your advertising journey breaks down

Does the campaign have no impressions, clicks without enquiries, or contacts that never buy? Each symptom needs a different check. Review the journey from campaign eligibility to the sales response. Use evidence to decide what to fix before making several changes together.

Quick answer

What should you check when Google Ads delivers no result?

First define what is missing: impressions, visits, valid contacts or sales. Check whether reporting reflects reality and when the change began. Then examine that stage against a comparable period. A campaign unable to serve and a website with a broken form need different fixes, even when both look like advertising that does not work.

From symptom to a useful check

Delivery

Account and campaign

Review account notices, billing, statuses, dates and requirements. For Search, use Ad Preview and Diagnosis alongside actual impressions. Not seeing your own ad does not prove that nobody sees it.

After the click

Page and measurement

Check the offer, speed and form on mobile. Make a test enquiry and confirm receipt and recording. A GA4 event alone does not prove that sales received a valid opportunity.

After the contact

Quality and response

Review needs, duplicates, rejection reasons and response time. Changes in service or pricing can reduce close rates without a decline in campaign quality.

Interactive plan

What is happening?

Choose a symptom. This planner guides checks; it does not automatically diagnose your account.

Start with eligibility and coverage

Check statuses, notices, dates, locations and restrictions. Use diagnosis for a specific search and compare with actual data. Clarify whether the campaign can serve before raising budget.

Our approach

How to organise the review

1

Confirm the problem

Distinguish missing data from an outcome that has actually changed.

2

Locate the stage

Connect account, traffic, page, recording and sales to find the interruption.

3

Correct and verify

Make a justified change and measure again using the same criteria.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Why can I not see my ad?

Your search does not represent every auction. Use Ad Preview and Diagnosis for a specific case and check actual campaign impressions.

Will more budget fix it?

Only when the identified constraint supports that decision. It does not fix disapproved ads, broken forms or an incorrect goal.

Should GA4 and Google Ads match?

Not always. Definitions, attribution, dates and settings can differ. Clarify the comparison before treating a discrepancy as a fault.

Should I change everything together?

That makes it harder to know what solved the problem. Prioritise the verified cause and document changes.
